Welcome to Parents of Epileptic Kids. This website was borne out of the awareness that there is very little in the way of support for
parents with children who suffer from epilepsy and even less support for
parents whose children suffer from a drug resistant or intractable/refractory
form of epilepsy. One third of all epileptics are in fact refractory.
The purpose of this website is to provide information on
epilepsy, treatment options and the like, but more importantly, its purpose is
to provide a meeting place for parents who find themselves in similar
circumstances and wish to share their stories, seek support and swap
information and resources.

He was diagnosed with epilepsy in 2011. Our journey with him has been long and hard but my little boy
has been so brave. Read about his story on the ‘About’ page.
